This is how the new digital system works:
Berth queue
- New applications are made by filling in the form here on the page and paying the mandatory application fee.
- We review all new applications and once we have processed your application, you will receive an email with a confirmation.
- If you wish to change your berth, the same rules apply as for new applications: you buy a new queue position on the website and submit expressions of interest for the berth/berths you wish to rent instead.
- The position you see in the system is the correct position in the respective queue and overall. However, if a customer is, for example, in position 200 in the queue, they may still be "first in line" when it comes to 3 m berths in a particular harbour, because the other 199 people ahead in the queue are interested in other berths.
- In the Member menu, you can see your position in the queue and how long the queue fee has been paid for. Here you can also extend your payment by clicking "EXTEND PAYMENT", which means you pay the annual queue fee, and "Change queue position" if, for example, you have changed address or want to change your boat size.
- Each queue position has an annual fee. One month before your year in the queue expires, you will receive a link by email and SMS with payment instructions if you still wish to remain in the queue.
Allocations
- At each allocation period, both old (unallocated pitches or unpaid berths from the previous allocation) and new pitches will be released, so it is important that you who are interested in a berth submit an expression of interest and rank your choices. If you have done this before and wonder why your interest selections are no longer saved, it is because the berth has already been allocated to customers higher up in the queue.
- If a berth is allocated to a customer higher up in the queue and then is not paid on time, the berth will be published again on the website and your old expressions of interest will remain saved.
Submit an expression of interest for available berths:
- When the allocation periods start, you will receive a notification by email.
- You then go to our website and select "Allocations of available berths" here in the menu.
- You then express interest in the berths that interest you and rank the places you want.
- The more berths you express interest in, the greater your chance of getting a berth. (But do not apply for places you would not consider renting anyway.)
- When the allocation period ends, the berths are assigned according to queue order and ranking. (You will then be assigned the berth you ranked highest among those where you are also highest in the queue).
- You now have 7 days to pay for the berth before it is put back on the market.
- When you have paid for the permanent berth, you automatically leave the berth queue.
- Please note that only those who are assigned a berth will be contacted by email.
If you wish to change your berth, the same rules apply as for new applications: you buy a new queue position on the website and submit expressions of interest for the berth/berths you wish to rent instead.
- If you are in the berth queue to change berths and are assigned a new berth, you should contact the Harbour Operations team, and we will cancel your old berth and adjust any price difference.
Frequently Asked Questions
I want to change my contact details such as email address or mobile phone number, how do I do that?
Answer: Log in with Mobile BankID, then under "My Account" you can enter your new email address and phone number. Alternatively, send an email to the marina, and we will update it for you.
I can't get to the payment page via the link I received. What's wrong?
Answer: The most common issue is that you are using an older version of your browser; try another browser or device.
I can't click "Pay now". What's wrong?
Answer: The most common error is that you have entered a boat that is too large for the berth. It may be the boat's depth, width, or length that the system is reacting to.
